Monday Musings: What is Coming Up This Week!

March 24, 2014 Monday Musings 2

Happy Monday, my lovely readers!

OK, so “happy” and “Monday” are two words that don’t generally suit each other – in fact, if my drive into work this morning was any indication, they fight like cats and dogs. I’m not sure what it is like in your neck of the woods, but the minute any form of precipitation occurs in the fair city of Melbourne:

Forget how to drive!

Enough with the dissing of Melbourne traffic (however well deserved). The start of a new week brings with it a myriad of reading and writing related awesome!

Clearing the Backlog Challenge 2014 – How’s it tracking???

The Clearing the Backlog challenge I set myself is working rather well. My TBR pile is ever reducing in size, and my NetGalley inbox is thanking me greatly. It does however continue and I have decided to be a little organised this week. I have already drawn the books out of the hat to read and review – hopefully I will be able to get through them and post for you all.

Books for the Week

A wonderful, random mix of historical romance, romantic suspense and sweet contemporary romance to fill my reading week. I can’t wait to get my eyes locked on to these pages!

What else is on the cards for My Written Romance this week?

Tonight my time, or Monday morning for the Northern Hemisphere dwellers among us, I am featuring the fabulously hot and filthy sexy Kit Rocha novel, Beyond Jealousy. Now this book is full of the boiling oil hot sexytimes, so if that isn’t your cup of tea…..

Top Ten Tuesday tomorrow is the Top Ten Things On My Bookish Bucket List. Some realistic, some a little outlandish, but all worth having a crack at.

Tomorrow night, I have the pleasure of taking part in the release week event for the wonderful Robin Covington’s new paranormal romance, Sex and the Single Vamp. I will be featuring this for review as well in the next few weeks.

Over the next few days, I will also be posting reviews for some fabulous books, so stay tuned.

Well, back to the cubicle of doom I go. Have an excellent day!!

OMG, Melbourne drivers. It’s so true!!! The moment it drizzles, we turn into numpties. I mean, if you’re so nervy in the wet, or your brakes/wheels are that bad, maybe it’s time to trade in your car for something with ABS?
    And also, happy reading!

Some out there need to abandon the idea of piloting their own vehicle in favour of the joys of public transport.
