On Wednesday morning last week, the finalists for the 2014 Romantic Book of the Year (or the RuBY) were announced by the Romance Writers of Australia. You can check out the list of nominees on my post from June 11 – click here.
I’ve read a few of the books that are nominated, but it’s got me thinking. I want to read the rest. So, from next Monday, I am going to be reviewing the remaining RuBY-nominated books. Each week, I will be reviewing a couple of books from the list, finishing on the Monday before the RWA Conference in Sydney in August.
Here are the books I have already reviewed:
The schedule for my RuBY reviews is as follows:
Gold Coast Angels: Bundle of Trouble by Fiona Lowe
Under the Hood by Juanita Kees
Nobody But Him by Victoria Purman
A Price Worth Paying by Trish Morey
The Dissolute Duke by Sophia James
Lost in Kakadu by Kendall Talbot
A Father at Last by Julie Mac
One Secret Night by Yvonne Lindsay
Never Say No to a Caffarelli by Melanie Milburne
Secrets of a Career Girl by Carol Marinelli
One Life Changing Moment by Lucy Clark
Currawong Creek by Jennifer Scoullar
Mistress at Midnight by Sophia James
I’ll do a recap of the reviews, just before I leave for the RWA Conference in Sydney. Once again, a most heartfelt congratulations to each and every one of these wildly talented authors on being RuBY finalists!
