From the hottest writers in Australia comes a scintillating new series. Enter the world of Sydney’s elite, and find out what goes on behind the doors of the most exclusive addresses in the country…
Meet the Housewives of Sydney. They are wealthy, elegant, poised, and constantly in the public eye. But what goes on behind closed doors, in the private homes and parties where the cameras and paparazzi aren’t welcome? Delve into the most personal details of their relationships, their friendships and their lives. The only question is: can you handle the heat?
Sienna knows that she’s got a good thing going with her boyfriend, Charlie. He’s attentive, loyal, and seriously hot. When he sets Sienna up with a very unusual gift, she’s both shocked and intrigued. But she’s worried as well – accepting Charlie and his gift will test all of their limits and the strength of their relationship.
The first of the Housewives for today (a good three weeks later than planned) is Sienna, the creation of Tamsin Baker. Before this, I’d known Tamsin more for her M/M erotic romance, however now, I know she can write some fabulous M/F romance as well.
So, here is what I thought of Sienna:
There’s a very real and deep connection between Sienna and Charlie. Sienna is a rich girl, and to some, might come off as spoilt and indulged. However, like all of us, Sienna just wants someone to love her for who she is, and not what she has. And, BOY, does she have that in Charlie!
Charlie may be the instigator of the fantasy fulfilment, but what I loved the most about this was that he allowed Sienna to take the reins. Charlie gave Sienna the control, and let her guide her own experience. He may have the alpha-vibe, but he was no caveman.
There be some hot sexy bits in this read. As with the other books in the series, I never get the feeling that the intimate moments in Tamsin’s delicious little literary confection are false, or couldn’t happen – they ring as true as is possible. I’m not going to reveal too much, but let’s just say Sienna and Charlie sure ain’t lonely in the bedroom….
The story doesn’t quite end after the sexytimes, and I really loved what Tamsin did in tying up the ends.
Gosh, I am enjoying this series!
